I discovered this great course and started to study. I have a question concerning muting. The congolese
thumb style has only left hand muting? I don’t see any right hand
muting, because the right hand is in the air, just sometimes the little
finger anchored on the bass. So if I play the A string with the thumb,
the E string must be muted…

I managed to get my head and fingers around the Popolipo Beniko section in Congolese Guitar Evolution over the summer.

I just made this short video of my efforts.

A few bum notes but wtf it’s late and I have other stuff to do than another take.
